Save a Sample! collects unneeded samples from design firms and donates them to local schools, art programs and artisans giving students and artists beautiful materials to work with.
If you are receiving donations on behalf of a school or artisan program - this survey MUST be completed by the person in charge of your program.

Material donations may be tax deductible. Please consult with your accountant.
Donations can include, but are not limited to:
-Carpet (loose samples only 12" x 12" or smaller)
-Fabric (memo samples only, no chain sets)
-Glass (smaller than 12" x 12")
-Tile (smaller than 12" x 12")
-Stone (smaller than 12" x 12")
-Metal (smaller than 12" x 12")
-Wood
-Laminate
Please DO NOT donate: sweets catalogs, code books, binders, material boards (i.e. brick boards), or anything that could not be easily incorporated into a project.
We request firms use copy paper sized boxes (banker boxes - see the link below for an example). This method guarantees consistent box size and eases the loading and transfer process for our drivers.
The standard paper box (banker box) is 12 x 10 x 15 Inches.

Yes. Manufacturers or representatives who wish to donate materials are welcome to participate in Save A Sample! if they become a city or national sponsor. To become a sponsor, please contact saveasample@specsimple.com for our sponsorship package.
